Well, I decided to hunt the newer part of my favourite spot today. I have been avoiding it, preferring to hunt the older area where coins are few and far between, but very old. It was nice to dig a large quantity of coins, and I even managed a 1937 Merc!

The Mercury is one of my favorite coins, she's as pretty as a new speckled puppy  nice. I found a Canadian Cent today, want to trade.......

Good clad count !

in Reno , just to watch him die ? Sorry , I couldn't let that one go by . I always liked your name , very clever and original . Nice going on your finds .:clapping::thumbup:

Haha, thanks for the compliment on the name...now if I could only find a real cache of great coins! 12 of the above coins (6 loonies, 3 quarters,1 nickel, 2 pennies) were found in the same wide shallow hole. I guess that's more of a pocket spill than a cache, but it's the largest group of coins I have found together yet.
