Have you ever found a squished quarter? That's a first for me. That's what I found on the beach like a foot deep! Couldn't believe it. I thought it was silver by the tone I heard on the DFX. It was giving me an 87 VDI. Oh and I found another mine detector army guy. I always get a kick out of those when I'm detecting. Go get you some!

Never found a quarter but I have found nickles and pennies. The kids used to put them on the railroad tracks and mash them. Nice Finds!

I was one of them kids that would put pennies on the railroad tracks. I like that GI JOE. Some fun finds... KEN from Ind.

Railroad smashed coin is my answer too, but you would think a quarter would of been pressed out larger than that unless it only got rolled over by just one or two wheels. We used to glue the penny's to the track and they would be pancaked a bit larger & thinner than that quarter.
