Morning hunt

Hi all,
This is my first post on my detecting finds, since I joined, but I have been detecting for years.
I went out for a short hunt this morning at a park close to my house.It has been scattered showers almost everyday for what seems to be a few weeks.So I made it short when it started to rain.( hunted an hour)

It has been a good park in terms of getting some older coins out of it, and in the playground areas, new coins.
I took my 2nd detector a White's IDX with the 4X6 shooter coil, just to keep it in use.
I hit the playground areas and got the usual clad coins. I then got a nickel signal, but pulled up a nice gold ring.:)

I started on the grass areas and got some more clad coins, then got another dime signal.......I pulled out a nice 1960 silver coin.( On the top right in the pic.)
In the mix of coins I got a few 70's coins and a 1953 nickel.

Glad you could join in. VERY nice ring find Mr. Beard. It's a beauty. And congrats on the silver dime!!

We could use the rain here. Would you send some to us please???

now thats a good day of detecting im still hunting the mythical ring but so far i oly find the pop top rings supose i could make a necklas of them . better go back to that spot

Gunnar,
So far you are doing very well, also...you will find some rings very soon.

As for going back to the park, this is the closest park to me and in the past was the first park I ever detected, when I started detecting.
I have dug quite a few old coins from this park and I bet there are quite a few more to be found.
 
Thanks for the kind words. I like to hunt fairly slow and just enjoy the time to get some excercise and maybe get some spare change, and possibly some older coins.;)
