I hope you're all are able to get out and do some detecting. We got over 2" of rain over the weekend and it's prime soil for digging. Here's a few of my keepers. The old pin use to be gilded and has a pink stone. I had a small handful of clad but didn't clean it yet. Let's see some of your finds. HH and thanks for looking, Nancy

Nice stuff!! I haven't been able to get out for quite a while so no pics. If you want to count the pile of cut stone I found with my "Kubota excavator detector" I'll try to get a photo.

At least you're keeping busy. Sounds like you've found some real treasure with your cut stone.

Nice finds, Nancy. Were these made with the MXT Pro?

I really like mine and use it more than my V3i.

Hi Alan, Thanks, I used my old MXT. I did have the RNB batter pack which is a wonderful upgrade from other rechargeable or even new alkaline batteries. HH, Nancy

Nice Finds Nancy, and nice to be able to get out an hunt. Glad you're getting some moisture.

Send rain my way. Moderately. None of that Louisiana stuff. We had a little sprinkle today, but nothing to help with the very dry weather we've had pretty much all summer. The ground is really dry.

Quick question for you. I have an RNB for my etrac and love it. Seems to run forever. I have a used MXT All Pro, no battery, being shipped my way. I picked up an alkaline battery pack at my local White's Dealer. Prefer to use rechargeable and keep Alkalines as emergency backup. What's your experience with the RNB for the MXT? Worthwhile expense since I will be buying a rechargeable anyway?

Thanks for your posts.

Hi Rich,

It's raining right now and I tried to get it to go to Utah but it's just sticking around. We have been so dry earlier and the ground was just powder. Hopefully you'll get some much needed rain also.

As for the RNB battery pack. If you plan on keeping your machine for years as I have and I have the MXT PRO and was fortunate enough to buy a used RNB (Thanks to Oregon Greg) and I can switch battery packs if needed. I don't think I could justify paying the retail price on a new RNB for the MXT with you having the E-trac. I'm thinking your E-trac is your "go to" machine? If so, I would say, "No" to the RNB for the MXT. Used? Now you're talking!

HH,
Nancy
