This isn't the first time I've dealt with this bunch. They think they own the lake!
I actually stopped on my way out to do this guy a favor, and all he could do was snap at me, and act aggressive!
Yessiree, there ain't nothing meaner than a 15 pound snapping turtle who don't want to get out of the road.
I've moved a couple others out of the way before, but this guy was the biggest, surliest, most non-cooperative brute I ever dealt with.
(Kind of reminds me of some people I know!!)
No pictures of him, but I carefully picked him up out of the road and hauled him down to the lake, where he went in and paddled away, moss washing off as he went.
A lady setting up a booth nearby was scared to death of him, kept telling me, "You better let him go". I told her "I'm figuring on it".
Anyway, I'm back home waiting for the wife to get ready to go out for breakfast. Happy hunting all.
