Been out of the diggin scene for a while after having some much needed surgery...... it was nice to get out and dig a few items though....
 
Man, if it isn't EARLY morning or at night, you just can't hunt in Texas right now. TOO HOT! Blech! It's 102F out there now, and only getting hotter. Ground is as dry as the desert, and hard as caliche too. Oh, for cooler wetter weather to hunt in....sigh...
 
Yeah it is, I was using the Tejon but digging that deep in the hard dry ground wasn't worth it so I switched to the Silver Sabre lol
 
Welcome back Jay. Dry hard dirt here in Jersey too, haven't had a good rain in months. Dead lawns every where.
