Morning hunt along the edges!:garrett:

Pretty much like yesterday, hunted along the curbs and in spots worked out onto the field a few yards. Most of the targets, though, were within a few yards out from the curb. My first good target this morning was the 47 Rosie followed shortly by the junk ring. It appears to have been gold plated at one point in time. Went back to my SUV for a battery for my Pro pin pointer and spotted my camera in my ditty bag (thought I had forgot to bring it) so when I dug the 41d Mercury I was able to get a fresh from the ground shot. The round jewelry piece appears to have been a broach as has spots on the back where the pin attachment would go. Key fob and 2 wheats from 40's and 50's round out the better digs. Ran into tabman and he had been digging away since before daylight. Beautiful morning for a hunt and its only going to get better for a day or two, anyway. HH jim tn

What, are you on the quota system; two silver dimes a day? Where do I sign up?? Another good hunt!

Jim you pulled those 2 silvers out of a really trashy area that has been hunted really hard. Way to go!

Great showing, congrats! Your doing one of my favorite tactics. Fringe hunting keeps me from going home empty handed. I'm catching up on some of these posts while I wait for the snow to stop - unexpected couple of inches this last day of March. Cruel winter!
