I’ll be 69 in August, and my arthritis is gaining ground. I went H2O detecting last summer, and it was a lesson in extreme pain and fatigue.
SO, I HAVE made the decision to sell all of my metal detecting equipment, it’s time.
I have a Fisher 1280X water detector that’s I think around 15 -17 ish years old, BUT it was completely refurbished by Fisher under their ‘original owner lifetime warranty program’ in December of 2019. Everything electronic internally was replaced: new controls, new permanently mounted 8 inch coil with snap on coil guard.. Original control housing, headphones and stem/handle. It’s been used I think MAYBE two/ three times since then, MAYBE 2 -3 hours’ use, it works very well.
I also have a Garrett 1350 GTP detector that works very well. It’s older but not many hours’ use on it, in real good shape, with the original small and never used large oval searchcoils. I also have a couple hard ground diggers, a long handled sand scoop for water hunting and a short handled sand scoop. In addition, there is a carrying bag for the 1280X, and a zippered bag with numerous extra parts (plastic coils screws, extra gaskets/ battery door for the 1280X, instruction manuals for both detectors, etc)……..Both are powered by 8 ‘AA’ batteries.
Anyone looking for a package deal, my E mail address is marciaphelps698@gmail.com. Let’s chat.
