[attachment 208933 takingabreak.jpg].... Me being a "flat-lander" got rather tired walking up and down all the hills all day. The other guys also took plenty of rest stops. Very near this spot was were I found one of the hammered silvers. Note the rock rubble wall at the top of this field. Most of the fields were bordered by rock rubble walls. The majority of these walls were built during the Medieval period, and some back to Roman times, prior to 450 AD.

[attachment 208934 edresting.jpg] Craig snuck up on me and took this photo just as I blinked my eyes. He thought I was actually sleeping, hummmmm?

[attachment 208935 alabamafastfood.jpg] "The Mayor" took the three of us on a tour along the UK North Sea coast. As we were passing through a small village we spotted this popular eatery. Made Bubba feel right at home. The gal in the photo eats there often ... and a lot!

[attachment 208941 edandbubbab4dinner.jpg] This photo shows the menu at the Cayley Arms Pub and B&B. Here we are field testing some John Smith Smooth and Fosters before dinner.

[attachment 208942 bubbathinking.jpg] Hay bales come in quite handy for taking a break to think about were to detect next.

[attachment 208949 mayorspet.jpg] Ol' Bubba really got me good! At the Mayor's house there was this little gate from the back yard to an enclosed area with poultry netting in the gate allowing you to peek in and view the Mayor's pet ostrich. As I was taking the photo "Big Bird" was acting like he was rushing me to pull me in the enclosed area to do to me what ostrich's do with wimpy flat lander Yanks. Bubba snuck up behind me and goosed me on the butt and made me scream like a little girl from fright.
