Four more fur trade silver pieces today. Two janglers, a turtle and a large badly muched but repairable Narcisse Roy brooch.
 
Where the fur trade peices used only for that purpose
or were they considered $$ for other tings as well???

As far as I know, simple straight barter for furs. I'm far from being any authority though. I'm getting a fair pile of the stuff now and will post all at end of season.
