An interesting feature appears in the November issue of W&E Treasures titled "A Practical Approach To Using The Target ID Detector" written by James Bruner. In it he explains how target IDs work and respond to targets. The Tetector he was working with was indeed the Toltec 100.
It's a good artical that explains how all ID machines work. Not just the Toltec.
Oh yeah, This issue was No.23 1989. Even has a Toltec 100 ad in it.
Dang.

I indeed own a toltec 100 circa 1987 and one of the best ID detectors on the market, but it is heavy and the meter is kind of small....Might be the best detector Tesoro ever made..

Could be. So I've been told. My friend owns the Cortes and side by side it performs just as well. Finally got the hang of GBing her but need to learn to start using it with my left arm for my right side is over developed now. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
