More tokens with the Compadre

Ran the Compadre for about an hour earlier today. Again a nice simple unit, no fuss, no bother. I noticed it does not get along with my Pro Pointer. If I set the Compadre down next to me the signal from the Pro Pointer causes the unit to static a bit. Turning the coil away stops it. Again I hit a bunch of the tokens, all buried at least 6 inches, the unit hit them just fine. Here is a shot of one of them front and back.

sure looks like an older one .

Those are really interesting! Sounds like that Compadre is treating you really well. Simple and effective is the way to go.

You're smoking with the Compadre. :cheers:That token looks really old.

smoking? .... it does say "Good For Amusement Only" :punch:

I like finding tokens.
Once after a detecting session, I had dumped the trash on the backyard table. Then was (by hand) sweeping the trash into a trash can, but the wife (eagle eye) snatched a crusty washer before it made it off the table into the trash can.
Without saying anything, she walked into the house, kitchen, then cleaned it a little at the sink. Turned out it was a token, the kind with a hole center. She must have saw something I missed.
I thought it was a washer. Now best to take a moment and re-check those washers. But I'll give em a little cleaning using the backyard hose (or garage sink) because if I was to clean trashy items in her kitchen sink..... well I did that once...yes once.
Imbedded into memory forever "never clean detecting finds in kitchen sink and never ever clean motorcycle parts in the dishwasher".

^^^ Been months, since last winter I think since I've found a token come to think of it.
