More "stuff" from the woods

I hit a wooded area Sunday afternoon for the sake of doing SOMEWHERE before dark. Only coins I found were an 1880 IH and 3 wheats from the '40's.
Two keys - one is iron. It was squeakin' at me enough for me to get curious. Also found a ball of lead fairly deep. At first I thought it was a large musket ball but it's a bit too big (even for a .69 cal) and too irregular. Maybe bulk for easy carry to be molded later?
The lever type thing is interesting. It's cast, blackened brass and seems to have a "musical" design on it. Any help on ID would be appreciated. Maybe some kind of lever from a piano or organ?
Thanks for sharing. Bruce in Ct

Love those skeleton keys....you know you're hunting in the old stuff when you turn up those...not even broker Bruce. I can't help you with the ID on the other piece but it is def. cool looking!

just my guess but it looks like it could be a tool to pull the pegs out on a guitar...about the right size and the hole fits over the pegs ..i am viewing the picture on my phone so Ill look later on my PC to get a bigger view..

Ornate foot pedal for an old upright piano. Might be a tad small BUT looks like a pivit pin hole in the middle and the end that sticks in the piano would attach to a bar.

Nice finds.

Thanks for the responses! Scubadetector - I'm thinking the same as you. I had figured a pedal or lever from a piano or organ.

Nice relics !! Love the old keys . The other piece looks like it came off of a musical instrument . . like a tuba or something similar.
