I sent another song in for the Spring 2014 International Songwriting Competition,winners announced July 31 st.My song addresses the mass commercialism of the Christmas season,and I am writing another funny song,'The Baptism Of The Squirrell'la humerous look at what happens when a squirrell comes into Church and sits there through the whole service,and being that the Pastor has no one to baptize,the squirrell is volunteered for baptism,with painful,but funny results for the Pastor.
I got some great compliments for the 'Three Wooden Crosses'song of Randy Travis that I did last week in Church.It is nice getting compliments for something that God gave me the ability to do well.I asked about doing one of my songs for Service next week,we shall see how it goes.
