More Silver with the 3030:yikes:

TIM CLARK

New member
Will last evening when out for a hunt at a site that I call the GC and hit on two more silver with the CTX 3030 the Merc was down 11 inches and was on end and the 3030 hit on it. And the standing liberty was at 7 inches and I though it was going to bowl out my headphone. With this detector getting coins at the 7 to 12 in range in are ground here in Indiana with the ground being BONE DRY I can not weight to get some rain to see what this detector can really do the merc is a 1918-s and the standing liberty no date.. :twodetecting::minelab::cheers:

What are your settings! And did the dept show 11" & 7" on the screen . Useing auto sens I only show 5-6 " a few times. Are you using Manual sens

Rich he uses auto +2 on sensitivity and generally uses the factory coin settings. I believe he was using Gonehunting's settings when he hit the quarter. They both showed up @ those depths. I was amazed when I saw the hole the dime came out of. It was pretty darn amazing. Heck I can't believe he was able to use his Lesche to dig that deep....our ground is bone dry and hard!

Great job Tim. VERY impressive depth, wow!
