Took the MXT out for a morning hunt and went back to the church lot that I have been hunting the last few hunts. I was using the Detech 6X8 SEF coil and was able to pick a few goodies out of all the nails and iron in the lot. I am really getting comfortable using the Relic mode with trigger forward and today used 0 disc. I really liked hearing the iron so I could pick high tones out between the low tones and focus in on them. I found three wheat pennys a 1919, 1927, and 1945 and a silver earring marked 925 on the back.
Sure is nice seeing someone getting out and doing some detecting. The ground is frozen here. You've got yourself a good detecting spot for some time. I too love hunting in the relic mode. HH, Nancy
