More silver from the Field with the XLT !

Was able to get out Saturday evening for a bit,Came away with a 1937 Merc, two Wheaties Two memorial and a few clad.
Now today Sunday was a awesome day :clapping:. Got a hat trick on the silver coins.Barber Dime (second one at this new spot) A merc, Washington Quarter four wheat's a memorial and a few clad.OH and the silver ring marked .925.
There is the normal trash also but I do not consider this spot a trash laden place.
This Field is turning into a very nice place to hunt.I have found silver each of the four days I have been here ,It is Ten minutes away behind my friends house and I do not believe it has been hunted before
I am just quickly going over the field right now with a modified c/j program and the stock 950 coil to cover ground and almost thru to whole field and then I am going to put on the Bulls eye 5.3 and hunt it hard. I feel there is a lot to find here over time.
I am hoping to get back out tomorrow for a few hours after work.

What a wonderful enjoyable hobby this is!

Well you are killing it with the stock coil on that XLT . Keep over lapping tight, and doing what you are doing. Way to go on those wonderful finds!

Thats cool! virgin grounds!
Did you first begin hunting there with the reloaded programs or right away with the mods?
Just curious. I'm a XLT rookie myself and have hardly used it yet. Been using the preloaded programs
as suggested for beginners.

My favorite coil when I had an xlt was the 800. Still have it and wished it would work on the v3i

I go right to my modified c/j program every time I go out. I change a few settings on it depending on were I am hunting. I normally only change A/C & D/C sensitivity pre amp gain, bottle cap reject, recovery speed. Sometimes I use mix mod,I all ways use tone Id,vco,Volume at max I am halfway deaf from all the equipment I ran in my younger days. I do fool around with other setting once in a while. like to just go out and hunt,On that note I have not been able to get back to the field for several weeks now. I was rear ended by a loaded dump truck and I am having problems with my back and leg pain :(

I use the stock 950 coil first and then go over everything again slower with the bullseye 5.3. I am happy for the most part with my results so far. Eventually I am going to get another whites detector I just not sure which way to go yet. I am still having fun with the XLT so I am in no hurry.
