More silver from the construction park!

Well, after my second hunt at the Barber quarter park was a complete bust I went back to my last silver spot to see if I could find some more. Turns out that there was more to be found, and probably even more still hiding.

I'm always searching for a new spot that could be the next silver mine, but it's good to have a fall-back spot.

Nice finds! Last year I hit a ballfield they were bulldozing in my hometown and found lots of silver dimes, wheats, IH cents, Buffalo's, one large cent from 1841, several pieces of jewelry and many relics. Having done much research on the property, it use to be where they held the local carnival. In 1869 it showed there was one house on the property.(image overlay using google / historical map works helped me here) Over the years it had been hit hard but when they bulldozed, it made the site come back alive and man did I have fun! Construction sites are a great place to hunt. Keep hitting that lot hard there is definitely more there. Look forward to your updates - Jim aka EPL
