Stopped at another place on the way home from work, hoping I could get lots of pennies. Well, I got a moderate amount, but also got a nice silver grad ring and a silver dime. The silver gods were on my side today. :)

A good winter project coming up is to find the owner.....

Nice silver finds bud. Wish my luck would improve in that area. Have you been following the saga of the two treasure hunters from here in Portland who are spending two weeks or so back east detecting everywhere they can trying to amass a certain number of silver coins. They hunt about 14 hours a day and silver is even getting scarce back there. They had a target of 50 coins each I believe and it is coming a lot slower than they thought. Check it out on the Depot Metal Detecting Forum.

Forgot to give you a clue. Look for posts my Monte, Me, Jim West, PA., Scott, ME., and any reference to Chris & Tom. Some of the posts are on page two. THey are home now after spending two weeks back there hunting in several states - something I had always planned to do until my wife was struck down with MS.

You still got it, John!
