more silver for the D and Me

Got bored so I went back to the old church that I have been hunting lately and once again the DeLeon with the stock coil pulled through. Today was a little cooler than it has been low 90's so I just had to get out and swing the D the old church I have been going to is only about 2 miles from my house and since it has been producing silver I will keep hunting it whenever I can. First few coins were newer very shallow then I hit the 60's with a few pennies a bit deeper in 2' to 4' depth so I started looking for deeper signals to dig and the DeLeon found them I found a couple of wheat's in the 5 to 8 inch range then the DeLeon locked on a deep silver target at 9 inches on the screen I dug a plug ran it over the coil nothing rechecked the hole still there and still deep broke up some more dirt out of the hole ran it over the coil nothing by now I am 6 or 7 inches deep I check the hole again still there I carefully break some more dirt from the hole grab a handful and the DeLeon screams out I sift through it and there it is a Roosevelt dime. I dug a few more targets another wheat and a Cub Scout slide anyway here's the goods from my hunt
9 pennies
1 nickel
4 dimes
3 wheat pennies 1951,1955,1958
1 Cub Scout slide
3 small hearts
1 1964 Roosevelt dime in excellent shape

Man that's awesome! I had no idea the DeLeon could go that deep. Nice job phinbolt!

Wow!!! Finds like that makes me want to get up and go detecting. :detecting:

Mike, I read that in good ground the Deleon will hit and correctly ID a dime at 9 inches. Yeah, I want to try one and see for myself.:)
