Wnt dwn a fw crp rws and got a nice shotgun slug and later a 22 slug and part of the farmers rakes great time out and the WOT is working good

Good to hear the WOT coil is working for you. I want to buy one larger coil besides the 10" stock tornado coil. There are so many different choices and reviews, I just don't know which one to buy :( choices, choices...speaking of bullets, I went to my local park the other day detecting. (that has been a park since 1933). I can't even imagine knowing that someone was in there hunting with a 12 gauge shotgun lol So far this detecting season, I found about 6 Remington 12 gauge UMC shotgun remains scattered throughout the park. The only thing left to them were the brass endings with the spent primer and and obviously it stated / stamped that they were Remington UMC rounds. Keep at it Gunnar there is something else in this field your hunting. I have a feeling.....I make this statement because I had this feeling at the old farmhouse property now turned public park that I have been hunting. Right after my hunch, I found the 1908 British Penny and the little ring I posted the other day with other misc finds. I know they are slim finds, but I feel there is still more there. Something keeps callling me back.(I am learning to listen to that inner voice) I feel something else is going to be "coughed" up out of this field. I feel the same about that monstrous field your working. Best of luck in your hunt and keep us posted.

well then I,m going back out you said it I beleive it got to beat the plow he may show up any day now

There may not be "quantity" of finds (Unless he farmer(s)from generations past buried a jar filled with silver dollars somewheres on the farm) but there will be "quality" of finds. That IH cent you pulled tells me that this is the beginning of what has been lost in this vast open space. I have a feeling.....Go Gunnar hit this hard as much as you can before the Farmer shows up.

if hunting farm fields be careful.... alot of farmers around hear are no-till planting......that is to say they arent even loosening the soil...they just plant corn right in the feilds that have the remains of last years crop......

I am leaning towards getting a W.O.T. for my Sovereign GT. :detecting: :clapping: We have one for our Explorer SE-Pro2.

Nice finds...Thank you for posting the pictures. :detecting:

Yep, today (6-10-11) at the old farmhouse, my feelings were right - an 1892 Barber dime was coughed up!
