I got my first (mickey mouse)Insulator...Ice Blue, Star
a nice green Brookfield New York and a Heminggray-20(hemingray blue) and 2 older T.H.E.CO.light blue beehives....they have a seam over the top of the dome which means they are older(1840's-1860's)first one I found has crack in it and made me mad but picked up another one with out the cracks...that was awsome...it has alot of snow in glass to..just hard to see in pic.
 
:shrug: Found One Simmilar To that Hemingray No-60-A Cobalt Darker Blue.I Have No I D On Value Or Collectabillaty Of These Types. Any Help Whould Be Great. Thanks Jim :help:
 
Hi there mattockman,

Actually the pair of TH.E's you have there date from the 1880's. These are CD143.5's. You have found some nice piececs i see. The one with the star on it is "technically" not a mickey. What you have is a CD260, which is what we insulator collectors call a roman helmet. The "true" mickey is actually a CD257. If you have any questions or need any help with insulators, lemme know. I've collected 16-17 yrs now. I do have insulators from the 1840's if you would like to see what those look like. I dug them when i lived up in virginia.
