More hunting on the horizon, traded toys today.

I traded my boat today for a motor home, no more having to go on a six hour trek just to keep the boat clean every other week. So soon I will be as Willy Nelson says on the road again. Soccer season is over for my grandkids this week end, so more free time. No particular place I won't to go but as long as there are beaches close by will be fine with me. HH

If the gas prices keep going up our RVs will be collecting dust in the driveway. HH Dennis in Idaho

Dennis, I can get out of site of my home with one gallon of gas with the motor home . The boat one gallon ( $3.70 a gallon at Marina) and I could turn and still see the dock. Boats are so much more expensive when you keep them in a marina.Yes you are correct if the price of gas keeps going up I will take shorter trips and stay longer at each site. There are quite a few campgrounds right on the beaches here in Fl. I can wake up and hunt before breakfast. Here is what I traded.

THIS IS THE BOAT I TRADED

My boat is a little more economical LOL. HH Dennis

The price on boats in Bermuda is double compared to the States due to high import duties. We both know how much use even an avid boater gets from his boat, most of the time she just sits on her mooring, fouling her bottom. In response to the high prices and low usage a lot of boaters here have taken to selling shares in their boat to offset the cost and spread the maintenance load. Just a thought if you get the boating itch again, buy a share instead of the whole boat. That Winnebago is a nice rig for sure and will open up a lot of new hunting territory for you; 2 day hunt camped on the beach with all of the comforts of home - PERFECT!!

Cheers Mate,
