Gunnar,
You have the patients of a saint and I truly hope you come across something rare and valuable so you can pay off that nagging debt. You are finding some very nice shotgun shell casings( The tone of the shells that I recently found near my barber dime were smooth sounding (which prompted me to dig) and registered at 173 on my meter) You also found a cool pocket knife! I found one like that at my local park. I was climbing the side of this large wooded hill just swinging rapidly along as I wanted to get to my destination and picked up an old pocket knife. So we just never know where that next item is going to be. You are doing good bro! - Jim

p.s. glad you are taking precautions against ticks and dogs.

You might want to carry some of this too - you just never know - this would be a hose and run lol

Any time I find a pocket knife I hunt the area intensely. You would think that if somebody can drop a knife then there is a good chance they also dropped some coins.
