the lone rose that should have died ten years ago? Also, can you folks purchase flower arrangements at the local grocery store at a reasonable price during your winter months? This will give you some color in your home and something to photograph too. I love the different colors in the bouquet. I may not know much about flowers, but I love to photograph them, love all the different colors. Thanks for sharing, enjoyed seeing them. Kelley (Texas) :)
 
Thank you Kelley. Not thinking, Larry and I planted that rose bush behind a flower box that had very little room or sunshine. Each year we keep thinking it's dead and before you know it, it produces huge brilliant blooms. Usually one bloom at a time. I'm afraid to move it for I don't think it would live through the transplant. Yes, it's that weak. Poor thing keeps going after all these years.

On another note, we have about 6" of fresh snow on the ground.
