More early coppers from the farm!

Went to my honey hole Friday for 2 hours, managed to get 2 large cents, 1817 and 179(7)? Plus i also got my first silver quarter, an 1929 standing liberty with vf-xf details! The 1797 is very corroded but the olive oil has revealed some letters and the 179 of the date. This makes 6 large cents so far from this site, spread out over the whole property, and into adjacent fields. If anyone has worked out any colonial property lawns, you might score some goodies in the nearby farm fields!

Went back for 2 more hours today, got 5 small buckles, a giant crotal bell, and a corroded, thin flat button. There is still a ton of ground to cover i hope there are more coins!

Isn't it crazy how we find things unexpectedly? I covered more of the field yesterday and didn't get anything noteworthy, so I went back to the side yard where the 1776 half reale came from. I walked to a random spot and turned the machine on. First swing is BEEP BEEP...12-46. Now i have already covered this whole side yard in the direction I am facing. I dig the plug and in my dirt pile is a friggin large cent! Turned out to be a 1798 one! I can't believe the luck! So I switch to the 6x8 and do some slow sweeps and i got a jumpy signal. Under a root is a 1862 Fatty Indian! It is pretty corroded but now i have dug 3 different year fatty indians so far. I am going to have to hit the whole yard again with the 6x8...

wow, man keep up the great work! sounds like an awesome site! I would be digging everything at that site.

A picture's worth a thousand words; lets see them bad boys !!

here are the pics! they are pretty rough, except for the quarter!

Badjim, you have dug so many more sweet finds than I have been able to find so far. I am almost out of public places to hunt and there's not any oldies in my parks. I think you will clear off your wish list in no time!
