More Delta Silver...

Ever since getting the 11" DD coil on my Delta a couple months ago, I have been having some great luck with coins... Today was no different - two silvers, a '47 Washington and an 1875 Seated dime. Since March, I have found the following coins with the Delta: 4 Barber dimes, 2 Seated dimes, an 1888 Victoria Canadian silver dime, this '47 Washington, 9 V Nickels, 3 Buffalo Nickels, an 1868 Shield Nickel, an 1865 2 cent piece, 23 Indian Heads, 12 Wheats, an 1816 Large Cent, an 1841 Hard Times Token, and an 1857 40 Centiemos Copper from Uruguay. My hunting partner who uses a Vaquero has gotten older, deeper coins, but I have certainly pulled the most in terms of quantity. Coins within the 8" range come up really well with this coil, might even push 9" on a bigger copper laid flat. Anyway, here's a couple of photos from today... Crotal bell is a Seth North, 1800-1850. Loving this coil! Will use this rig all year, next spring upgrading to the T2SE. Thanks for looking, BB

Nice, NICE haul! :clapping:I love that 11"dd too...its the only coil I have at the moment! Mud

Wow, you are plucking some really great old coins. The Delta-Omega platform seems to really like coins. Good luck down the road. HH jim tn
