More deep silver from the park:detecting:

I went back to the park that produced my double barber quarters from 2 years ago, and more recently my first gold ring. I was hoping to find more deep silver with the CTX with the 17 inch coil and I was not disappointed! I started right where I found the 2 quarters and gridded along the same direction. The first good target was the 1911 barber dime at 7 inches next to a hedge row. The cool thing was that I was using auto +3 showing sens. at 21 and barely got a repeatable hit, so I switched to manual 25 to rescan. The signal came in so much better, so I knew there had to be something good. Sure enough I saw that silver rim in the bottom, right at the depth of the blade of my lesche digger (7"). I had been going about 2 hours with nothing but some deep junk and clad signals, so I was relieved to get some silver. But the day was not over yet, so I resumed the grid, and an hour later I got a slamming hit 9-43, 11-45 a bit varied but would hit solid in all directions. I was very excited and I just knew it had to be another quarter, and I was right! This 1908 barber quarter is gorgeous, there is so much luster left on it! I ended my hunt on that high note, and I still have more to grid so I'm hoping there's a few targets left. My buddy who was on the other side of the park got a 1900 indian and 1910 wheat while I was there, but then called me twice after I left to let me know he scored the same finds, a barber dime, and 1898 barber quarter(his first ever). Both were at depths of about 7 inches.

Picture with the buttons and dime is from a cornfield that had a house in the mid 1800's. The religious medal I found in a crack in the closet floor at my house, its stamped sterling. The top button has what looks like gold gilt and says Beacon Brand but I cant seem to find a match online. I have seen the brand on a few buttons but none are even close to mine. Can anyone help me out?

We are so pleased with our CTX's and their ability to tell us whats deep in the ground. Hope you all get out soon.

Damn Dude! You knocked the stink out of it!:clapping: Those both look like fresh mint drops! Well done! Get back out there!

Great finds, I use the CTX 3030 a lot . I did find a seated quarter 1876 8 inches down, Good sweep in all directions but a weak sound , need to follow your swing with the larger coil

did you get anything on target trace for the seated quarter? I have been trying to use it more to determine if deep/iffy hits are just nails or not. I have gotten tired of digging deep nails to check on myself all the time.

I keep getting rust nails as well, I think with the ferrous objects bleeding in the soil we get that problem
