Well, I have found quite a few colonial coins in my back yard, and passed over tons of ferrous signals.
'Good' signals are now few, and far between. So, I decided to start digging the nails...
Found this:

About 2 1/2" long, ferrous. I'm thinking cowbell clapper... Wonder if I'll find the rest.
I think I am going to enjoy finding things in my yard again. :)

Random but cool I like it

I have been imagining what the building that was here was used for...
Need more clues. So far, I have about 20 colonial coins, a 1780 Spanish half-reale, a King George II half penny and a key.
Oh, and tons of square nails.
I think digging more of the iron should really help figure it out.

Yesssssss!
