I don't know buddy I'll have to count them. I know its short of last years finds. Dang weather this year really bites.

There swaged bullets. There pretty common finds at Gettysburg campaign spots. I'm trying to find a US base. They have eluded me. I have found some really rare bullets though. I've found Gardener explosive bullets, & new Austrian bullets. I have really only hunted somewhat local civil war spots. Old diggers took me when I started metal detecting to some good spots. I just expanded on some of them & have found my own. I'm not done yet either. There's more to come as long as I can do it I'm gonna. HH TIMmorelic55 said:

I set the sensitivity @ 100`/. The disc at 40 & I ground ballence with the threshold maxed. Dig almost everything. I'll leave nails in the ground. Its pretty easy to size targets with this machine. Sunday I ran into some of the worst ground I've hunted yet. I had a couple of .58" minnies read like iron to pull tab. By sizing them when pin pointing I decided to dig. I was surprised when out popped Minnie balls. It goes to show that you never stop learning. I'm want to hunt this spot in all metal mode & see what happens. As bad as the ground is there could be a plate or so in there. Some of these bullets were onle 4"-6" deep. This machine usually has no problem IDing them . I've hunted this spot before & only found a couple of relics. This day was great. I recovered over twenty good targets. Hope I made since to you.
