More AT PRO air tests

While I'm waiting for the weather to get nice enough to do some in-the-field testing and video, I did some more air testing in my living room. I tested a 14k gold ring, a large cent and a 3 ring mini. All tested easily over 12" with the sensitivity turned down to keep it stable in the house.

Thanks for the test.....just as with my air tests, only mine were in standard mode, 7/8 for sensitivity. the AT pro is hot on gold rings.

Seems to be very hot on gold. I get just about as good signal on a 14k ring as I do the large cent or even a silver dollar.

That was my first initial reaction, especially when compared to a lot of other single frequency machines in motion discriminate. I am predicting a lot of nice gold ring finds in the water this year. But that will be at least 4 months away. :(

Just found this 10k gold bracelet in a tot lot we hunt a lot. It had been there for awhile because it had dirt packed in the lettering. It was close to a metal poll but was able to pick it out.

Yeah I've got about 100 gold rings of all sizes and weights and karats that I want to run tests on to get a general idea where they show up on the read out.
