more and more buckles and an 1860s token from Domain

I didn't realise how cool these buckles were. 2 hunts, got these. NZ penny, British penny and scarce halfpenny token. issued between 1860-1875. Was a good weekend. Its quite cool to have the history behind the horse stables that were there. I have a date range 1860-1908 but not sure what period the buckles are from.

Also I'm going to Buy a Minelab excaliber for diving see if I can get some rings under the sea. I got a nice digging knife, a very sturdy one from a garage (yard) sale on Saturday.
Off to work again tomorrow so not detecting this week Ill be to tired, although I have spotted a number of back yards worth asking their owners about, and those will only take a few minutes to detect.

Look at how scarce the token is...... I'm very pleased with it. I believe this site has been detected before. there is no nothing not even tabs in the middle of the park, its been cleaned out over a period of time but on this edge (about a 8 metre wide strip about 150m long over the fence from where the stables were) has too many iron signals and it masks the good buckles and you have to be very careful as I only have the stock coil......... some of them are hidden completely. also the problem that my detector just ungroundbalances so quickly makes it a difficult hunt. although those bigger buckles gave a solid 42. but xt50 said they were shallow (1 arrow) when they were 4-5 inches deep. detector paid itself off. good. Hope I can win this excaliber at auction. currently $515 nzd.

Wow that was must be rare.I enjoy finding tokens, they are unique. Good find.

Congrats on the finds! I really like the token! Well done for sure. Those buckles are very cool also, good hunting, Beale.

Great finds Moa, pity the 3d wasn't a 1935, but any old silver coins are a great find, you certainly have a great site to hunt down there
Cheers
