More Accessories

This weather may not be the best for hunting the beach for some of us, but it sure gives us the opportunity to make some of our accessories.

I seen a video of Max and he was using a holster for his scoop, I sent him an email asking if he still uses them and if they were as good and handy as they looked. He was kind enough to reply and sent along some pictures. Thank you Max.

The plastic was cut from a 35 gallon drum because a pail is not heavy enough. Stainless steel washers , a small piece of 1/4" S/S tubing I had, and 4 rivets.

You can't get any simpler then this, it works great, very comfortable and another accessory out of the way. I sill have to make my sifter but have been procrastinating over the piece I need to get from McMaster Carr. I know what I want, but the minimum piece is twice what I need.

I use salt shakers to carry my rechargeable AA batteries. I also keep a small silica gel packet inside with them.
4 AA batteries fit just right in them and you don't have to worry about losing or shorting them.
