What was the learning curve like, difficult? I think that I might take a look at one, appears to be what I am looking for.
Have you noticed much grain to the pictures when using the upper end of your zoom?
Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Would you take a moment and provide some details...where taken, were you using auto or manual settings, and etc. What zoom setting were you using? Thanks for posting the picture.
Also, where are you located? Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">

Hi Kelly i live in Perth the capital of West Australia, the FZ20 has only been on the market in Australia for the last 3 weeks and is getting very good reviews, most of the shots i have taken have been on auto the plane was shot on 12zoom and the moon was 48 digital.
Heres a shot i took today of a Blue tongue goanna.
Cheers Raoul

That lizard animal looks like you made him angry by taking his picture. I assume that they will bite, correct?
The picture is extremely sharp, detailed...did you use the auto mode on this picture? That camera is doing you a good job. Thanks for posting this picture. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D">

Yes Kelly made him mad on purpose so that he would show his aggresive side, mind you it doesn't take much to make them mad,yes they do bite and its an ugly wound when bitten.
Camera was on auto.
Good luck with the Nikon, good choice also.
