Last year picked up a Nikon CoolPix 9200 at an estate sale for $25.
Pretty dang good little pocket camera, contrary to what the camera reviews say about it.

Just for fun took some pictures at wide angle and then at full digital zoom. Was surprised hand holding produced some good shots of the moon.
Made me wonder if this camera was on a tripod, with out any camera shake how much detail would really show up.
 
Wow!! amazing zoom on that camera......amazing handheld shot ..... I think you hit the jackpot with your find!!
 
Thats a fantastic bargain for sure,i bet you are over the 'moon' with those pictures :rofl:
 
Pulled that Nikon out again, hand held, this time used the back of a lawn chair for extra support.
Was able to sharpen the image some using GIMP
