Money Laundering

Our bucket was overflowing so I thought it was time to clean up the clad and get them to the bank. I use a rock tumbler with vinegar and some rock cutting compound this time and it work real good. I usually use fine sand but ran out of it.........same results though. The total for 30.5 pounds of clad was $330.64.

Looks like they turned out nicely. I need to get a tumbler someday. Probably need to spend it all on gold so it'll actually be worth something.

Wow!.....You got some loot there Larry, I have been putting off getting a tumbler for some time now, My wife has been on me to get rid of all those coins in the closet .

I don't do much cladding (any more) but your totals sure me want to change tact! Now that's a total and great pic!

I've got my third load ready for the bank. I don't like to scare them. :wiggle: Rob

Nice load of laundry.

Just a tip for everyone that you can get a decent twin tumbler (rock tumbler) for $30.00 at Harbor Freight. They even have a tumbler with a single drum for $20.00. I purchased the 2-drum tumbler and it works great. I also purchased the cleaning kit from Kellyco which has the rocks and a cleaning powder and they worked great. If anyone knows where to purchase the cleaning powder in bulk I would like to know that.

I find a little aquarium rock (picked up at any pet store, wal mart, etc. and a bag lasts a l-o-n-g time), water and a shot of dish soap works very well. Keep pennies and clad seperate. I put the coins in after work and after work the next day there in good shape. Nice hual by the way! :beers:

Lots of clad!
