money-coil epoxied-coins cleaned - good day tues.

Watch out with that vinegar and other acids, however mild. They will eat holes in your Zinclincons if left too long in the solution.

I used colored aquarium rocks along with the vinegar and salt and it turned the clad green. What do you use as an abrasive to help clean the coins?

Did you soak those winning tickets in vinegar and salt too? Is it easier than scratching them off? Nice scores!:clapping:

Yea, I discovered the salt and vinegar trick a while back. I also use the small aquarium rocks
in my tumbler but I get lazy and just put it ina container and SHAKE RATTLE AND ROLL!

i try and remove all pennies from cleaning coins.

i use to try and clean the pennies, but stopped many years ago.

i have ammo tumbler from bass pro shop and have used for years with gravel and soap.......would use two batches.......1 for clad coins and 1 for pennies.

let them tumble for long time, sometimes overnight.............worked great, but i think the salt and white vinegar is faster and does ok for the coinstar coin machine.

thanks everyone for the tips - good to learn new things for sure
