Mondays' haul.......

Third time at this place and only got 1 wheatie today. These new clads and memorials were DEEP. Can't believe how deep some of these were. I was trying to go for a lot of the deeper, softer whispers and still ended up with a bunch of clad. Some of these were 3-7" deep. Lord only knows where the silver is? Think I'm almost done here except if/when they cut the hay from the rear parking lot so a guy can get into that area. This county fairground has old history and in 3 trips I probably dug maybe 10 wheaties and 1 later silver and these were found off the beaten path out behind in the parking area. There is still hope but not much in the main traffic areas amongst the lush green grass....coins just too deep for this kid....... Think I'll return to working the alleys in town, that's how I stumbled onto that standing liberty yesterday.......

Todays haul........

Keep it up and you will be rewarded with silver. It's been so hot and dry here that I've given up on detecting for awhile.

I'm going fishing.:)
