Mondays finds hunting lake with SD

Fun day out in the water with my friend SD. No gold but some silver, nice sterling religious metal, 1937 merc, 1888 Indian and several odds and ends. A little bit of lightning and a rocky canoe.

LOL , now just wait a dang minute. ALL I ever find are bottle tops and pull tabs. All the SS is coming off of docks. Will let him tell about the fossil, pretty nice one. The canoe was only rocky because of the storm that brewed. The lake we were in has no place for me to launch my boat. Won't get it back till next week anyway.

Kevin is just learning this undewwater fun. Soon he will be just as good as I am. Then I will have to find another edge so I can stay ahead of the game!

It is a fossil bob oz, it is a Dalmanite from the Precambrian period placing it anywhere from 590 million to 4.6 billion years old. Sorry I cant narrow the date down more then that.

The ring is only brass, it had me excited briefly until I picked it up.
