Went to some local Athletic fields were I usually find plenty of clad and the occasional ring or silver coin...My friend found a junk spinner ring and about the same amount of clad as I...I found only clad...39 coins for $3.13 ...
This field is loaded with foil items from the concessions they sell during games.
Oldest coins: 1961 Memorial, 1964 Nickel, 1965 Dime
Also found a suspender clip...not sure of age.
I get asked what I use to clean my coins...Well now I use the brush shown...Stanley with hard plastic bristles. I use this with a little dish soap and water.

HH,

Nice finds on the clad. You really hit the nickels and dimes. I can find the dimes, pennies and quarters, but the nickels seems to take a little more digging and swinging. Your pennies look all corroded up like mine do when I dig them. They sure don't last long. The Indian Head penny I found last year looks better than the newer pennies from just a few years ago. HH

Yup..the new Zincolns are pretty much history once they hit a fertilized field...
Trying to think here...Nickles are between 50-53 for me most of the time I believe...

HH,
