I have hit this yard hard in the past. I got a few targets with the stock coil but when I put on the 5" coil and slowed the swing down a little, the ground came alive. Surprisingly, most of the coins were
masked by other targets in the 40s-50s range. The IH (1902) was in the middle of another target, seriously. If I moved an inch or less in any direction, the audio would drop. Some of the targets I didn't dig
because the ground was so hard. The 5" coil is a keeper. Richard

There was over 12 Wheaties.

Mirrors what I.m seeing and getting as well. Racer users without small OOR coil don't know what they are missing.

nice job how about the 5x10 not sure as of yet how deep it is or if the 5 and the 11 is all I need..still testing

I would like to try out the 5 x 10, but I sold ever last one of them but have more on order..FWIW, I thought the stock did really well, too.. Richard

The 5.5X10 DD does feel a little heavier than I thought it would, but it works pretty well. I use it on occasion when not working the small 4.7X5.2 'OOR' coil. As for the stock 7X11 DD, it's okay, but when I want to use that size coil I grab my Nokta FORS CoRe because it balances much better with its own 7X11 DD. I keep my pre-production Racer (R1) ready with the 'OOR' coil mounted full-time and my production Racer (R2) has the 5.5X10 DD mounted.

As for depth, I haven't worked a site with naturally lost targets that were deep enough to wonder about comparing the medium and standard coils as I have been hitting coins, dimes to quarters, down to 7" and 8" ... when they happen to be that deep, although they seldom are more than 4" to 5" down..

Yeah on two tone you can turn down the gain to 50 and still get a ton of power

I will do more testing I know it's not going to be as deep as the 11 just hoping it's going to be right in the middle of the 5&11.

Feel the same about the 5". I did try the stock but have the 5" mounted and will keep it there. For where and how I want to use it...it's hard too beat.

I would have got more good finds with both coils but the ground was just to hard to dig. Praying for some rain so I can go back.. I may try the 5 x 10 once I get some time on the stock coil so I can do a fair comparison. Richard

Richard you're gonna fall in luv with that machine once you fully realize what it will do. Racer or CoRe both are superb at finding the goods. That hunt was an excellent start looks like. Nice finds. And yes the stock coil isn't no slouch either. Were you getting lot's of targets/metal in the ground you didn't know was there by chance? I'm sure that's what was masking the stuff from your other machines. They just flat out couldn't see it.

I got my 5x10 from you Richard and found some real cool finds that blew me away..Was it the smaller coil? Not sure yet I'm hunting in a trashy area with history and will do more testing biggest thing is it deeper then the 5" coil and how well is its smaller footprint do compaired to the 11" I will test it agin this Sat and make a video

I got a full Razor Pro package from Richard last week and the 5x10" coil and I was amazed at it's light weight compared to the 11x7 so I put the 5x10" on and did some hunting in a trashy spot in a park and along a curb strip. It separates extremely well and I'll bet as good as the OOR coil but deeper because of it's narrow 5" size.
I left the Racer in factory gain and discrimination settings (70 and 10) and my ground balance was about 85. I like the way you get a beep when you ground balance to know it's good. I wished other machines did the same. Makes it very quick to do repeatedly throughout a hunt to check ground conditions.
I watched the DVD that came in the kit and they do an AIR test of the different coils on it and looks like the 5x10 wasn't maybe too much less than the 11x7" coil maybe an inch or so give or take.
I may just have to buy from Richard that really big coil they also have ( think it's 13x15") because I'm really liking this machine. Oh swinging the 5x10" is a breeze too because of it's solid shape and light weight. I think I'm going to leave it on unless I go hunt an open field and want more coverage and or depth then I'll try the larger 2 coils.
Thanks Again Richard.
