Monday goodies...

Monday I snuck out for a bit before I had to go to work. I didn't find much, as I only had about 15 - 20 minutes. I got out from work early, so I went back. The area I'm searching is now mostly sled runs, but there used to be a zoo in the area. I managed to get two Wheat's, a '45 and a '53D. On one of the sled runs, I got a signal that gave me a soft High Coin hit, at an indicated depth of 4". Since this is where most of the old goodies are coming from, I immediately dug it. Well, it wasn't in the hole, and it wasn't in the plug. As I was grabbing loose dirt to check, I saw what appeared to be a small piece of "can slaw". At first, I ignored it, but it just happened to make it's way into a handful of loose dirt that I checked, and gave a High Coin hit. I looked at it closely, and realized it wasn't aluminum, but a small silver shoe charm. As you can see, the loop is worn through. This makes my first piece of silver jewelry this year.
