Monday Bonus Hunt (Dedicated to John in WV)

Weatherman forecasted rain and cold so I planned some chores for today. How anybody could miss a forecast by as much as he did I don't know. At 11 am it was 60 degrees and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Went out for 2 hours specifically to get some practice time with the 12.5 inch coil on my 2500. If you recall, I was having a hard time IDing targets with it. I now have a bit over 5 weeks experience with the 2500 and the larger coil worked perfectly. If it IDed a coin as a quarter it was a quarter etc.........

Why did I dedicate this hunt to John? Well it's the two (sort of) half dollars I found. The one in the middle is a 1974 Kennedy. The other half signal I got is the two quarters immediately to the left of the half. You should be able to make out the shiny spot where they touched. That big washer rand up as a dollar coin. I was digging it all today and when I got the dollar signal and dug out some dirt and the target was in the dirt I had removed from the hole I had hopes of a silver dollar. We've all been there. Someday I'd like to find one.

Also found a wallet that I turned over to a cop.

Chris
