Mojave And Zinc Pennies

I recently picked up a new mojave to use at the parks and in heavy iron sites. Today I was at the park and decided to crank the discrimination to the max and block out zinc pennies. The mojave did block out most zincs however I found that it would give a clear relatable signal on badly corroded zinc pennies. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues? I have several other Tesoro detectors and I have absolutely no problem blocking 100% of zics . The machine is a great detector, but curious if this normal for the Mojave?

I have the same results sometimes in fact just today. But with deeper corroded zinc pennies, try to pump up discrimination a tad not too much though.

That's what I did, but even then some will sneak by.

Mojave is a good park/school detector, that's were I'm getting the best results. Love the unit, it's one of my favorite detectors.
