Moisture or imperfection in At Pro screen

A hairline imperfection appeared on my At Pro screen and on close inspection it looks like moisture. Another At Pro
owner said he had the same thing and Garrett sent him a new screen cover to put on it. He said the imperfection is
between the two coverings on the screen and will not harm the detector. He has not done the repair yet. Assumption
is that you remove the outer covering on the screen and replace it with a new one. Sounds complicated to me and I was
wondering if anybody has done this repair and how hard is it to do.

yes, i have done this. basically an air bubble looking type thing. it will expand with time. i took a sharp knife very carefully to the edge, next to the bezel. do this slow, around the edges to pull the adhered, old sticker off.

Once you have that off, you are left with the protective plastic screen over the led readouts. putting the new one on is simple.
