Too cold to detect......cabin fever setting in, so I grabbed a bunch of shotgun shells and made some shotgun shell rings. Making these has about a 50% failure rate, as I destroyed three others in the making. One split tonite, so I made a toe ring out of it.

Here is a view covering about 360 degrees of each ring.

Thanks for looking.

or have you?
Maybe saloon tokens, good for tokens.........

maybe in the form of "a complete idiots guide for ring-making".
Gosh, that is neat, I have seen some of the other rings you have made and they looked great also. HH and take care.

A warning is in order to only use already fired shot shells. Trying to remove the paper or plastic tube from an unfired shell could be damaging to fatal. Many years ago, a friend, a very young unknowing young boy, wanted the gun powder out of a shell for what ever reason. The shell fired but was somewhat protected because the brass was being gripped in a vise as he was cutting the tube part of the shell. The metal part rolled back in the blast and severely lacerated the boys hand.
