Modify a Minelab Explorer to make it lighter

Hi water dog this set up works well without any cutting or sawing all you need is an army belt and an S rod or straight rod .terryin oz ps forgot to mention an extention coil lead .
 
That's a pretty cool idea. I modified mine to make it lighter by buying a GT that I could hipmount. :biggrin:
 
You can use a microfone extension cable(CB/Ham radios) with the same amount of pins
