Moderately Priced Camera?

Can anyone recommend a moderately priced camera that would show the dates of coins clearly on the pics? Thank You & HH!!

Some very nice compact cameras available, just be sure it has MACRO MODE for close up work.

SAMSUNG - CANON - FUJIFILM - PENTAX are all moderately priced with good results.

Good Luck with your choice.

I just bought an Olympus Tough TG-310 I can't say enough about it. I trashed my old camera by getting some sand in it from a volleyball court. I needed something to keep up with the ATpro. It's waterproof to 10 feet, films in HD video, pictures at 14 meg and not only does it have macro it also has a super macro. There are a lot of different models to choose from. Here is the package I bought. http://cgi.ebay.com/Olympus-Tough-TG-310-14MP-Camera-8GB-Kit-Red-/290567684770?pt=Digital_Cameras&hash=item43a72f02a2

Most cameras today will do a decent job. Take your picture outside in direct sunlight with the macro setting on at the highest resolution possible. Use a tripod or sit on the ground and rest your hand on your knee to keep it steady. The less light you have, the harder it will be to focus and the less contrast there will be for the camera to show really tiny things like dates on coins.

Good luck!
