Mod'd Cibola hits the Tot Lot

Sven

Well-known member
Went to a local Tot Lot, that was freshly spread with pine mulch two weeks ago. Three extra inches of mulch to go thru before I hit the layer that the grass had overgrown.

This is the take for 4 1/2 hours of hunting. Cibola sure finds small stuff............

19 Quarters
28 dimes
10 Nickles
54 Pennies
Assorted junk, assorted junk jewelry.

The mulch was still a bit frozen, it wasn't too hard to dig with this new digging tool I picked up at our Ace Hardware Store. Works pretty good.
It only cost me $12.00, since I work there.

Nice haul Sven.
Has been real busy here with school concerts and plays. Hope to get out again before declaring it too frozen for me and then taking the Cibola apart for the mod.
Take care.

Nice hunt Sven !

I'm getting to learn the mod'd Cibola much better now, I really like it!

Last week I'd find some nice targets two of them small coins, one Hollandia from the year 1626 and one Zelandia from the year 1784.

(Only need to clean them some more but couldn't wait to post them)

Yeah, that's the one I use too. Got it at Home Depot. Unfortunately I have'nt had the luck to dig as much good stuff with it as you have. Those are some really great finds.
