OBN..... i think he was asking about water RESISTANT not water proofing..... could be wrong thou.

depends on the extent of water resistance. if you want it to be resistant against salt spray and the likes just put it in a ziplock bag then into a hip mount bag it would be pretty resistant... if you are looking to make it resistant to accidental dunks into the water thats a whole new story...
